Since I'm paying for this blog pace every month, thought it might be nice to put a few things here, instead of, or also, in my other one.
My creative process has been busy moving, working, and doing the great job it always does for me, and bringing about all kinds of synchronisitc events that are changing my life.
It's really odd and great, for me, how any time I seem to take a class, no matter where, it turns out to be an unusual one and one of the best for whoever is teaching it.
Registered for a writing class that is bringing new people into my life. We wanted to continue, so are going to meet once a month, share our work and see where it takes us. The watercolor class was excellent. I learned so much about brushstrokes and composition, and learned more about composition than I ever thought I would. Oksana Ross, my teacher, is a walking art historian. I'm hoping she can continue to teach for Colorado Free University even though they are closing the Colfax and York building and are moving or have moved everything to Lowry which is ideally located for me.
Since the writing class ended, I've been writing at least one hour a day every day, albeit, sometimes, more than that is spent rivising work done on other days.
The first edition of my newsletter, Lyn's News, will probably finally be finished by the end of this month and will be going out to any of you who would like to see it. It was interesting how much I learned and grew in the months quite filled with visit home to see my mom for the last time, water damage, again, two more times, struggles with drapes and sheers and just a great deal going on. Being creative is always a release for me, as well as others, I suppose.l
